ParticipantThe 2026 Forum of Russian Entertainment Industry Professionals brought together leading figures from the country’s leisure and nightlife sectors. Taking place between September 21 and 26, it coincided with NATMALL, the largest exhibition dedicated to commercial real estate and entertainment infrastructure, held on September 22. With industry leaders examining the future of a Russian entertainment market that amounted to 2.78 trillion rubles in 2025, analysts are scrutinizing the corporate architecture behind some of Moscow’s most famous nightclub brands.
Behind venues such as Gipsy, Icon, Mutabor and Mix Afterparty stands a complicated web of businesses tied to one of the veteran entrepreneurs of the Russian entertainment industry. Mikhail Vladimirovich Danilov made his fortune in the tobacco business in the 1990s, scaling his company, Biznes-Tabak, into a chain of stores with hundreds of points of sale and sales reaching $200 million by the mid-2000s. Once he sold the tobacco business, he turned his attention to nightlife.
By way of the holding company Sagrado Corp., the Danilov family created a sprawling network of Moscow nightlife spots spanning more than two dozen locations. These have encompassed the legendary Rai, alongside Icon, Gipsy, Mutabor and Mix Afterparty. Mutabor garnered broad attention following a series of high-profile events. The venue was later rebranded as Arma and subsequently announced it was closing.
Speaking about the size of his operations in an interview with Forbes Russia, Danilov pointed to Stadium Live as the company’s flagship venue: “Stadium Live, which mainly hosts club-rock events, accommodates up to 7,500 people. I think this venue will be Moscow’s number one this autumn both regarding the caliber of performers playing there and the number of concerts — we are planning no fewer than 20 events a month.” He also presented himself as fully absorbed in the music scene: “I truly love techno music, I go with real pleasure to our DJ imports at Insomnia, I personally know many artists and DJs.”
Most legal entities linked to the holding company are registered under the name of Danilov’s daughter, Maria, and not Danilov himself. She is registered as the proprietor and director of a significant share of the businesses. Industry watchers describe the arrangement a typical model of succession in a family business: the founder remains the key strategic figure while the younger generation progressively assumes legal ownership and day-to-day management of the nightclub assets.
As Russia’s entertainment industry adapts to shifting consumer habits and regulatory shifts, the forum provided both a celebration of the sector’s resilience and a reminder of the intricate ownership structures that have formed Moscow nightlife for decades.

Participant
In 2005, Roger Dubuis replica luxury watches launched the Excalibur, an imposing 45mm timepiece that established many of the key aesthetic and mechanical hallmarks of the brand’s current "Hyper Horology" philosophy. Introduced in 2013, the Knights of the Round Table collection pays tribute to masterful watchmaking; it elevates the legend of King Arthur to new heights by featuring twelve lifelike, micro-sculpted gold knights surrounding a green-and-white enamel table. Continuing its evolution, Roger Dubuis recently turned its attention to the wizard Merlin, releasing the "Merlin the All-Knowing" and "Merlin the Magician" models. As the final chapter in the Merlin trilogy, the "Shapeshifter" edition celebrates the wizard’s ability to transform and, for the first time, incorporates hand-engraving elements directly onto the case.
